Aiswarya R is a dedicated and compassionate Psychological Counsellor with a strong academic and research foundation, having completed her Master’s in Medical Psychology. Her professional identity is shaped by a deep commitment to integrating psychological principles into healthcare, emotional well-being, and behaviour change.
 
She brings extensive experience from multidisciplinary clinical rotations in psychiatry, clinical psychology, oncology, cardiology, nephrology and neuro-rehabilitation settings. Having worked
closely with psycho-oncologists at the Madras Cancer Care Foundation, she excels at providing empathetic, patient-centred support to individuals facing chronic illness, emotional distress, and
medical decision-making.
 
Aiswarya’s counselling approach is strengthened by her strong assessment, interviewing, and case formulation skills, developed through hospital-based internships. She has also contributed meaningfully to community mental health by conducting emotional-well-being sessions for school students through NSS, working with children with disabilities at NGOs, and volunteering in mental health awareness programs.
